How to Check GPU Information with CPU-Z

Steps

• Open the Graphics tab in CPU-Z (or the Graphics section in the web profiler)
• Read the GPU display name / identification string
• Note GPU memory size when reported
• Check graphics interface cues (for example, PCIe generation where available)
• Capture any clock or codename fields shown for your report

What “basic graphics specifications” means

CPU-Z is not a full GPU suite like dedicated graphics utilities. It focuses on identification: which adapter is present, high-level memory, and enough specification detail to confirm you received the card or iGPU you expected.

Laptop tip

Laptops may switch between integrated and discrete GPUs. If the name looks like an iGPU, run a light 3D workload or select the high-performance GPU in OS settings, then refresh CPU-Z to re-check identification.
